Bruce for Model Number GSF26C4EXY03 My ice maker would not fill with water but water dispensed through the door. I replaced the valves W10238100 and W10258562. When I push the water dispenser the dispenser valve solenoid energizes however the primary valve W10238100 does not. The reason it doesn’t is that it is only receiving around 28volts instead of 120 when the dispenser paddle is pressed. If I connect the lead from the water dispenser to the primary valve it lets the water flow perfectly. Could you please help me troubleshoot why the primary valve is not getting the proper voltage? I have tested the ice maker and it checks fine. The freezer temp is 0 degrees. All of my water lines are clear and I even installed a new water filter. Thank you for your help!
Answer Bruce, If the ice maker has power to it and cycles then it would need to be replaced. It just will not send the correct voltage to the water valve.WPW10251076 Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, September 21, 2020
