Matt R. for Model Number Kenmore 10677188791 I tested the voltages for the water valve, motor, heater, etc. and all is well with that. But the icemaker still will not fill with water. It doesn't even try to push any water into the tray. I have checked for water pressure at the valve as well and that all seems fine.I don't believe that the line is frozen either. What is a good way to check if the line is frozen? Other than that i am all out of ideas. Please help.
Answer Hello Matt. If the voltage is good, and the fill tube is not frozen, then you will need to replace the water valve WP2315576. Remove the water line from the valve going to the icemaker and see if water comes out when the icemaker cycles. If so, the line is frozen. If not, replace the valve. Hope this helps. Read More...
