Rich J. for Model Number part # AP3961809 In reference to the above part, a solinoid for the ice maker in a Kenmore, I can not stop the leak from the hose to the ice maker. This is the plastic tube that plugs into the solonoid valve at the rubber spacer or what ever it is. The stainless tube insert is in place. Help!
Answer Hi Rich. At the water valve, press in on the yellow locking collar. Push in all the way on the tube to see if it is pushed in all the way. With it pressed in then pull the tubing out and inspect it foe cracks. if you have enough tubing then use a sharp utility knife to cut it exactly square on the end and try it again.
