Teresa We have a Kitchenaid under counter ice maker that we have just replaced the circulation pump. Ice maker is working now. We also cleaned the screen of the water inlet valve which was covered in gunk. Ice maker is working but after a few cycles, the water in the reservoir gets low and the pump struggles because the water level is low. The water refill fills to overflow the first time but each time after that, the refill does not seem to get to the overflow part. After many cycles, the water level gets lower and lower and then in turn the pump struggles with low water level. We have checked everything. The unit is working great other than this. Is this the water inlet valve (even though we cleaned the screen)? Thanks so much for your help.
