Phyllis for Model Number Maytag ice maker MIM1554ZRS Hello, Upon your recommendation a few weeks ago, I replaced the circulation pump on my ice machine. When everything was put back and reconnected, the on/off light is blinking, fast ice light is lit, and no sound from machine to indicate it is making ice. I turned the circuit breaker off for a few minutes to see if that would fix it, but it did not. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Answer Hello Phyllis, this sounds like something is interfering with the control board operating correctly. Check the plug-in wiring connectors where the recirculation and drain pumps (2 wire ) plug in, there is low water sensor (3 wire) there , disconnect it and check the wiring and terminals for any problems.
