Answer David, What is the issue, you didn't mention that. As for a 2X2 piece of foil, we have no idea, There should be nothing attached to the heater grid, thats where the ice falls and gets cut into cubes by the wire. The only thing attached to the evaporator should be the thermistor, and thaty should have a mounting clip.
