Ausuml for Model Number ZDIS15CSSM The reservoir that I was referring to is actually part number AP3594832 and is called a water pan. If we fill this pan manually with some water the noise (whooshing sound) stops. Replacing the Water Valve to this IceMaker has only helped in that the ice is now crystal clear instead of "airy".
Answer Hello Ausuml. You have a leak at the new water valve. You will need to check the water lines and make sure they are good and tight. Pull on the water lines and see if they come out of the valve. They should be tight. Also, check and make sure the lines are not cracked. Hope this helps. Read More...
