Tim for Model Number MVWX655DW2 I have a Maytag Bravos top load machine. The machine makes a groaning sound at various times throughout the wash cycle but seems to be operating right. It has been suggested to me that this is the water inlet valves although their issues seem to be leaks and I do not see any reference to my symptom.

It would be recommended that the specific area of origin be located, as well as if there is a specific pattern to when it occurs, to better identify what may be causing the noise.
