Chris for Model Number mvwc6esww1- maytag when my washer starts to fill, it is like it gets confused, it will start and stop until i fill the washer with water from the sink, it also does this on the rinse cycle. any ideas
Answer Chris, The first thing to do, make sure you have plenty of both hot and cold water supplied to the washer from the faucets and hoses. Then replace the Sensor Switch WPW10248240. The switch controls both the fill level and the water temperature. If the circuitry develops an issue, you will experience irratic water temperatures, and water valve operation.
