Blaine for Model Number 110.29822800 My Kenmore washer won't fill up with water, but it will rinse if I turn it to rinse. We tested the water valve and it didn't read anything on the ohms tester. We also tested the sensor switch and nothing. Again we unplugged the one plug with the 2 wires and set the washer to a cycle and no luck. Please help me and do you know if I took it to a appliance store both of the parts do you think they can test them with out the whole washer.
Answer Blaine, You would want to test for voltage at the water valve when the unit is turned on and calling for water. If you test across the leads on each of the valves and see if you are getting 120 vac. If not then test at the ATC switch for 120 vac going into the switch on terminals W/R to white and going out on for the hot Tan/Red to white and cold yellow red to white. If there is 120 vac going in but nothing going out then the ATC switch is faulty and would need to be replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Monday, July 15, 2013
