Mcross for Model Number MAH4000AWW Neptune Maytag Washer, only cold water available for washing and rinsing. Have checked hoses and filters. There's no obstruction or flow issues and there's plenty of hot water coming from the hose. Does this require a new flow valve or is it a control panel issue?
Answer Hello Mcross. It sounds like the water valve WP22002795 is bad and will need to be replaced. Test for power to the hot valve. If there is power there and it does not bring in hot, replace the valve. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter.
