Mike for Model Number NTW4605EW0 Amana HE washer NTW4605EW0. On spin cycle it used to sound like a jet engine it spun that good. Now it is making a constant screeching sound all the way thru the spin cycle. Want to try and narrow it down before I just start replacing parts. Thanks.
Answer Mike, You could have a coupler going bad or something in the drain pump causing noise. Pull the casing off the washer and check the connection between the motor and transmission for a lot of black plastic shavings. Also the brake assembly might need a touch of lubricant.
