Matt for Model Number MDBH985AWS We are having a couple of issues with this dishwasher. 1. It is not draining well. There is always a few inches of water left after a cycle. So far I have taken apart the inside and cleaned everything that I can find to clean. I rinsed the pump filter as best as I could, not perfect but seems pretty good. I removed the drain motor and cleaned it out, seemed to spin ok. I removed the drain hose and made sure it seemed to be clear. After all that it still left water in the tub. Could the drain pump be under performing or is it all or nothing? Any other suggestions to look at? 2. There is always something stuck on a couple glasses or some bowls. I was thinking that the stuck stuff was due to the poor draining, residue getting sprayed around. 3. The lower spray arm is not spinning. At least I positioned it let the washer run for a few minutes and then checked it, the arm was in the same place as I left it. Water was coming out of the sprayer holes when I opened the door. Any suggestions? Should I replace the lower spray arm? The filter plate, the drain pump or something else? Thanks.
Answer Hello Matt. Run some dishwasher cleaner through the system and make sure the water in the unit is filling to the bottom of the heater. If not, replace the water valve on the unit. Low water level can cause poor cleaning in the unit as well. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Friday, October 4, 2013
