Kc for Model Number Whirlpool DU1055XTPQ3 The lower basket seems to be rubbing against the insides of the dishwasher cabinet. It is difficult to pull out and push back in. And there are black marks where the basket wheels seem to be rubbing on the sides. Also, the door is no longer laying flat when I open it. It wants to bounce closed 2-3 inches and I have to hold it down to pull the basket out. Which is difficult enough because the basket is sticking inside. Any ideas?
Answer Kc, For the issue of the door not staying all the way open would be a faulty door spring. You will want to pull the unit out and check the springs on the unit. As for the wash rack sticking, This sounds like it would be caused by the tub either being out of alignment or the sides of the tub have warped. Read More...
