Bill for Model Number mdbtt70aww i am getting noise during operation so i checked it out while not running, it appears that the lower washer arm is rubbing against the lower portion of the manifold. is there a gasket or friction washer that goes on the lower washer arm to act as a bearing and raise the washer arm so that it does not hit the manifold??
Answer Bill, No there are no bushings or seals between the lower wash arm and top of the pressure dome in the center of the pump. You mat want to check and make sure the bottom of the spray arm is not worn out, and that the shaft it mounts to is straight and has not been dislodged, by something sticking out the bottom of the lower rack. You may need to remove the lower access panel and check that the motor is not sitting on the floor, there should be at least 1/4 inch clearance between the bottom of the motor and the floor.
