Hello Gloria, The spray arms don't "wear" in that sense. The thing you are looking for is any holes clogged with debris and separations between the two halves of the spray arms where they are "melted" or crimped together at the factory. When the spray arms separate, the water pressure escapes from the separation and causes a "wave" to develop in the water in the bottom of the tub and this causes the water to jump the air gap. This in turn puts water in the floor.
