Mia for Model Number Kenmore Elite 10650599000 A workman broke off the nozzle that directs the water from the dispenser downwards rather than straight out as the white tubing that's left is doing. This nozzle was held on by a screw that's still there in the door until the tubing and I want to replace this, but don't need all the tubing that comes with replacement part 4388152. Is it possible to either just get the parts I need, or remove them from the entire tubing fitting? I can't imagine getting the tubing up through the door and the new one down again, but if I can pull the nozzle and "plate" from the new piece and attach to the old tube and door with the screw, I'll be good. Your earlier advice, please and thank you.
Answer Mia, The pieces on part WP4388152 are molded together and do not come apart. You would need to replace the tubing in the door which is not a difficult task. The door has a channel that runs through it to make the process easier. You will want to remove the door to do this though. Read More...
