Dennis for Model Number ksrs27ikbl01 Hi, Just replaced my water dispenser line, but it continues to leak. One of the other questions mentioned replacing the check valve. What's the part # for a KitchenAid ksrs27ikbl01? Thanks, Dennis
Answer Hello Dennis, There is no check valve on the water dispenser short of the water inlet valve. If water drips from the water dispense line there is air in the water system, either from the water supply or in the water filter. There could be a loose fitting allowing air to enter the system but this will normally allow water to leak from the line at that point. Try purging the air from the line by throwing away about two gallons of water dispensed from the dispenser. If this doesn't take care of it, there is air in the water supply to the refrigerator. You can install a check valve 8201815 but since one is not present, it will just be installed and not replaced. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, January 22, 2014
