Jim for Model Number 10657762790 The water tube that goes from the valve into the fridge and ultimately to the door water dispenser has a leak about a foot from the valve. This tube appears to be 5/16 od but I'm not sure. Can you verify? Can I cut out leaking spot and replace using tube and push on connectors? That's what I want to do but I need to know size of tubing. Thanks!
Answer Jim, The tubing that goes from the water valve to the water tank located in the back of the refrigerator compartment then to the dispenser is a 5/16" tube. In some cases the tank is a coil of water line and you may be able to pull a little more out of the cabinet and cut the old spot off and use what is already there without having to splice it.
