Billy B. for Model Number 106.9512810 Kenmore The waterspout broke off while I was changing the light bulb so I bought WP4388152. I watched your video and started in. I got as far as removing the hinge and cam. I taped a string to the bottom end of the old tubing and then started to feed the tube through to remove it. It won't budge on either end. At the bottom, it will go in about 1/2" and then feels like it's hitting something. At the top, I grabbed it with a pair of needle-nose pliers (the only way I could pull it upward out of the hole it's in) and it wouldn't budge any at all. It's like there's a clip holding it inside the door or the tube is snaked around over the top of one obstruction and under the bottom of another. At any rate, I cannot get it to go through. Is there some trick to it on this model or am I destined to call the repairman?
Answer Hello Billy, You will not need a string tied to the water line since this will make it too large to pass through the opening. Pull the old water line out from the top and feed the new one in from the top to the bottom. If it stops before getting all the way through, it may be hitting the door hinge. If the door is off, this issue will not occur. It will just slide through. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, November 14, 2017
