B for Model Number Kenmore Series 80 Dryer 11066842501 I am needing to replace all 3 thermostats, and probably the heating element as well. I watched the videos, but my connections are a bit different. I only have 2 wires, (not 3 or 4, and NO orange wire) where the Hi-Limit thermostat connects to the heating element connector. One connects to the top of the Hi-Limit thermostat, the other connects to the right side of the heating element connector. There is no wire that connects to the other side of the heating element connector. What parts do I need in order to replace all these thermostats and heating element?
Answer Hello B! The videos are to give you a brief idea of the replacement procedure of that type of part. Your model and part may/will differ. The two thermostats on the element come in a kit as part number 279816, the cycling thermostat is part number WP3387134, and the element is part number 279838. Thanks! Read More...
