Mary for Model Number WED5500SQ0 We had a catastrophic failure of the heating element to include a small burn on the floor. House circuit breaker did not trip! Ordered and installed a new heating element. Dryer does not start although the light goes on. What other parts might need replacing?
Answer Hello Mary. You will need to check and see if the thermal fuse WP3392519 is bad and will need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
