Vickie W. for Model Number LER6620PQ1 My dryer runs but dosent heat. I put all new fuses in house hold fuse box. I think its the heating element and I dont know where it is located at ?
Answer Hi Vicki. The heating element is located on the back side of the dryer. Unplug the unit and remove the back. The thermal fuse is located on the blower wheel hsg. on the left. It is part # WP3392519. Make sure it ohms closed. The element is located to the rt., on the bottom of the heater inlet housing. It will unbolt and pull off from the bottom. The element should read 10-30 ohms and not shorted to the casing. Part # is 279838. All fuses read closed. The thermal cut off kit is part # 279816. Thank you. Read More...
