Eamonn for Model Number GC22272309 The threads on the auger motor and/or yoke have stripped and the yoke spins freely on the shaft. The only way to remove it is to cut it off. In that case I will have to replace both the motor and the yoke. Has anybody tried to weld the yoke to the shaft rather than replacing them? Thanks,
Answer Hello Eamonn. You can actually cut the yoke WP63052-2 off the motor with a dremel tool, and you will not damage the motor, if you are careful. I would not recommend welding the yoke to the motor assembly. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, September 21, 2011
