No tools, just a clip in process. What I do want to rave about is the customer service. We just moved and I entered the wrong house number for shipping. The part was returned to you since neighbors did not know us. My request by email to reship the product was answered so quick and to let me know that it would be shipped the next working day. I really appreciated this with my small inexpensive purchase. I will recommend this company to all my contacts and the website was very user friendly.
