How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP3194023 / 00432490 Dishwasher Lower Door Seal

Replaced the gaskets. 

Using the parts I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros and following the excellent instructions from espares.com (https://youtu.be/h3F-7VRPI8M), the repair went smoothly. 

I replaced tub seal 

I ordered a few gaskets and installed them with various videos found on appliancepartspros.com. The fix took about 2 hours and saved me well over $350. 

Replaced door and cabinet seal on first unit, only cabinet seal on second. 

Watched a video on it. Went pretty good took a couple of hours just taking my time. 

Replace dishwasher door seal 

First of all the model number was missing from the Bosch dishwasher-it took me quite sometime looking at pictures on the internet to identify what looked to be the model. After that I ordered the part...easy task, found a video on the internet on how to install the seal. Took door off (not a simple task the first time around), installed seal, put door back on. Works great. 

With normal screwdrivers , wrench set. The bottom door seal goes every 8-12 months . Have changed out 4 times now . (Bad Design). The seal gets a crack and causes water leaks on the floor . 

My wife and I were on our way to purchase a new dish washer. We stopped by our neighbor and told him of our plight. He immediately advised us not to buy a new dish washer. He later sent me the Internet information on AppliancePartsPros. He came to our house and removed the door for us, checked the hose, felt the gasket (which seemed okay). Then he closed everything up and tested the machine; it worked "like a charm". Later we ordered a gasket, even though we did not need it, in order that we would have it on hand in case the original gasket fails.
