Myn December 09, 2023 for Model Number SHV4303UC/12 There is a strip of black gooey material at the bottom of the dishwasher door, visible just by opening the door. It has deteriorated and is now softened and bubbly and is releasing black gooey spots onto the dishes in the dishwasher. Is this the door seal? If not, can you help identify what it is and can I replace using one of your parts? Many thanks!

Darryl August 14, 2019 for Model Number she55p026c/60 I have a Bosch Dishwasher (she55po26c/60) the bottom gasket was bad so I purchased a new one from your company. The old one the lip was sticking out from the bottom of the door on the inside. After the installing the new gasket it does not stick out maybe a little but more even with the bottom of the door. Is this the way it should be. We ran the dishwasher a few times and it did not leak and then we put dishes in it and ran it and it leaked a little is there something we need to do. Darryl, (Still leaking) So I purchased door gasket and I installed it and it seemed to leak even more. I went back and reviewed the video and I forgot to stretch the gasket so I did and it still leaks a bit. I also extended the front legs and it still leaks. Darryl
1 Answer Darryl, you may want to inspect the unit for anything that may be obstructing the lower seal 00432490 and door gasket 12054183. If there are food particles built up it can cause an improper seal. If a dish is protruding out past the dish rack it can cause the door to not seat properly.
