Theresa G Alton , IL October 10, 2015 The refrigerator door was not closing properly and there was a lot of condesation inside I ordered a hinge kit and my son replaced the hinge as well as some of the plastic parts that attach to it. Now the refrigerator door closes nicely with that pleasant "thunk" that lets me know it's really shut. The door is also level now. It was about one inch lower than the freezer door. My grandson used to hang on the door when he opened it and I think he is the reason why the door was messed up, but the hinge kit did the trick. Also comes with hinge & cams for the freezer door. Unloading & loading the food took longer than the repair. Watch the video, the manufacturer's instructions are worthless. Alan D Dayton , NJ January 09, 2015 Lower hinge plastic cam broke on fridge door which ripped the pin out of the lower hinge and caused the door to fall off Replaced the lower fridge door hinge and plastic cams. The new hinge's pin is threaded all the way through. This design should be much better than the original one. Shipping was fast and install was extremely easy. Would suggest having a second set of hands around to help get the door back on the lower hinge. Replaced the lower hinge set on the right fridge side. Took about 20 minutes. Only needed help from another person to help guide the door back onto the lower hinge. Surely could have got it on myself with some effort (2 or 3 tries) but I'd recommend having someone looking below to help guide the door back onto the hinge. Made it a breeze in one try.
