How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3837345 / 316429301 Electronic Oven Control Board (Clock/Timer)

Pulled the back panel on the range and found a circuit board burned. I looked up the part number and found a replacement board very easily. Had it shipped directly to my house for cheaper than I could find it from anyone in town. Replaced the part and it worked great! 

Replaced simmer control circuit bosrd 

Replaced simmer select control board. Saved $372, board cost $47. 

Replaced a circuit board on the stove for the second time in 11 years. 

Three wires to oven [ black white red ] found when black wire was not connected -breaker would stay on. so I followed black wire to circuit board .found part # and ordered on fri got sat.great service.ho .circuit board was problem .the cost was 32.00 and ship cost. wife now thinks im smart. how great is that? 

We ordered the parts and my husband and I did the repair. 

Replaced the "Simmer Select" board. It had multiple melted copper tracks and a lot of black soot. 

Replaced the board.
