Replaced the Bellows and Clamp. Spring was still usable. Damage was due to clothes being trapped between the lid and the bellows. During the wash cycle they twisted into a knot that pulled the spring into the machine. Bending the spring and tearing the bellows.
Watched a video on youtube that showed the basic steps. Definitely need a second set of hands to replace spring as it requires a lot of stretching. Also used a clamp to hold one portion of it in place as we worked our way around.
