How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6230537 / 5304509231 Clock

Replace control board. 

Replaced control board/clock and overlay. 

Moved oven out in the open, removed top rear panel covering the oven clock and controls. 4 screws held it in. Took it out, unplugged electrical connection, plugged in new part, installed it, put rear panel back on and plugged it back in. 

The temp sensor tested ok, so that left the control board. I ordered one at about 3 pm on thur and received it at 930 am the next morning. I took about 15 min to install, problem solved. 

We ordered a replacement from APP. 

So easy; removed back cover and then removed the 4 screws holding the clock in, unplugged the connecting wire then just put the new one on, plugged it in and done . 

It was very easy fix, removing the panel in back unplugged the Clock/Control replaced the Clock/Control and plugged it back in. Put the panel back on plugged the stove in and it worked. Very happy !!!!!!!! Thanks for your support. 

Ordered the parts from you. My husband and son-in-law put them in. My son-in-law has ordered from you before. He said this was much easier than the repair on his dishwasher. 

Unplugged range and removed the upper back panel. Unplugged the control board and removed the screws. I carefully removed the overlay from the front of the board as it is reusable. Put the overlay on the new board, screwed it back in place, plugged it in, and replaced the back cover. Took maybe 15 minutes. 

Called service company to diagnose and get estimate. Technician said it would cost over $500 to repair. Told me the control panel was bad. I found the part here ordered it and installed in less than 15 minutes I have a working oven and stove. Total cost $225 including the service call. New stove to replace would have cost over $1500.
