How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6892591 / 134523200NH Electronic Control Board

The Control board was replaced. 

Bought a new one from you guys....works great so far......would like to know if you want my old one......thanks Dennis 

Replaced circuit board. 

Replaced control panel.. 

Installed mother board 

Replaced the control board. 

The dryer had been beeping for months, even when it was not drying. Then cycles began to fail to complete. Eventually only the Delicate cycle would dry clothes. Replacing the control board fixed it all. I had to remove parts from the old control board and put them in the new one. The cycle selector knob was a little tough to get out - I had to pry it with the screwdriver. I also put the Start button into the new board upside down the first time. If not for that the repair would have been less than thirty minutes. 

I had a real problem with the dryer working for two weeks or so and then just quit heating. I could play with wires and connections and it sometimes would work for a time or two or for a week. I kept playing with it to determine that it was actually this pieces since it is a pretty expensive part. I had resorted to only masking tape the front cover to the dryer so I didn't have to pull it out every time to screw the top back down. So far the dryer is working fine since I replaced this part. Nothing I read ever said this part could be the problem which is why I took so long to buy it.. Also, the price was the cheapest at this website. Thank you 

After ordering the control board for our machine at AppliancePartsPros.com, I followed your excellent on-line instruction video I found on youtube and was drying clothes again in short order. One suggestion: The video directed removal of the selector dial knob, but mine would not come off after struggling with it for awhile and it turned out that it wasn't necessary to remove the knob on my model and I think I might have damaged it if I had kept going. This repair could take 30-60 minutes, but because of this, it took me a little longer (below) I fixed our washing machine a few years ago, using the parts and instructions from AppliancePartsPros.com. In both cases, the parts shipped right away and could be tracked once Fed-X got the order on their system. Both orders arrived in just a day and a half. It was very satisfying to be able to make these repairs myself and keep expensive appliances going. Thank you! 

Followed troubleshooting for stuck button, did not fix issue. Ordered replacement control board, shipped quickly, and replaced unit in less than 30 mins.
