How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6892591 / 134523200NH Electronic Control Board

Replaced the control board 

Customer service was awesome they handled my claim with great care and concern. Fortunately the replacement part did not work as expected and the customer service rep took very good care of me! I will recommend this company to all my friends and family!! 

Ordered repair part from appliance parts pros .com order came in 2 days used a screwdriver yo replace part and put dryer back together and everything works fine 

I tested each button as instructed on various videos, and no buttons were stuck. I replaced the control board. It was fast and easy. 

After using YouTube to help diagnose that my buttons were not sticking. Other option was replacing my control panel; which I did using the same video. Very easy instructions to order proper part. Fairly easy installation. 

Replaced panel in less then 1 hour had it fixed and running again like new. wife is very happy and so I'm I don't need to buy a new dryer saved a bunch of money. 

Fix is pretty easy. Removed two screws from the back of the dryer to slide back the top. Then 4 screws to get the control panel out the 5 or so to get the control board out. You have to transfer pieces from one to the other. Be aware there are springs so disconnect everything before taking the control board out. 

I first checked to make sure none of the buttons were stuck per the AppliancePartsPros tips and they were OK. Based on the experience of others and AppliancePartsPros advice I opted to replace the control board. I watched the AppliancePartsPros video on how to do this and it looked pretty easy so I ordered the control board. The repair was easy! The hardest part of the whole job was getting the stupid hot air exhaust plumbing reinstalled because I have a short ridged pipe that exits straight out the back through the wall. 

Checked the fuses and coil which were ok... then had a repair man check what was next and he reported it was the control board... i replaced it and all works well... moderately easy I used U tube video which was quite helpful about the unintuitive issues to look out for
