Melissa V Kutztown , PA October 04, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Washer ATF8000FE1 Would not complete spin cycle e 61 error (control board) Bought and replaced main control board. You have to open up the washer from the top gain access to the front control panel, then unplug all the wires that are attached to the main control board. The only thing transferred from the old board to the new one is the timer/counter, otherwise is just plug and play - you do have to pay attention to one set of wire that have the same amount of prongs and remember in our case - "pink goes on top". Not a difficult repair, just a bit tedious to get to it and disconnect and reconnect everything. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
