How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3873639 / 316441801 Surface Element Control Board (Dual Element)

I removed the broken control element and reinstalled with the new part. I crossed one of the wires and the small element of the burner would not heat. Fortunately, I took a picture of the wiring from the old control element and after reviewing the picture I realize the crossed wires. 

I replaced the control switch 

Pulled off old switch re wired new 

Replace with new switch it was berry easy 10 min. Job 

I replaced the burner control switch with the one I ordered from you. Works great now. 

Realized that the control to the large front burner was no longer working. I turned off the breaker and started disassembling the stove. Pulled out the control circuit board and noticed the burn spot on the relay. Found the same relay on AppliancePartsPros.com and ordered it. Received the part and installed it. All is good! 

After reading someone else's story, we were able to confirm our suspicions of a bad switch. We weren't sure we would be able to get a replacement because of how old the range is but AppliancePartsPros.com had the one needed in stock. once the order was placed, it was shipped within 24 hours. We had to order the Dual Element Control to correct it. 

Replaced with new part. It was very easy.
