Subsequent to an electrical storm our freezer began acting strange due to a controller board malfunction

Loss of power/ door open more than 5 minutes will not start

I looked up trouble shooting on your web site and saw the same code displays with suggested answers and results. I ordered the controller board and it arrived the next day. I already had removed the original one so I clipped in the new board and plugged in AC power and unit started. I set the temperature and all became normal again

Freezer would start going into defrost mode also we didn realize the digital display would not display the higher temperature and was still showing 20°

Our freezer had a little beeping sound but the door was not ajar luckily opened the door and thing were thawing somehow got it to freeze a little couldn't reset control panal read off

Tried unplugging freezer to reset but did not work . Ordered part . Popped out old control panel there was some sealant around it ...use a thin scraper that will help . Ordered new panel and it popped right in . So glad I could repair without call a service man !!
