How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4393090 / 241993001 Rear Crisper Cover Support

I followed the video and removed the old supports. I didn't have a putty knife so I just used a table knife (butter knife). They popped out fairly easily, two I had to pull out with pliers. I put the new supports in and tapped them into place with a hammer. One would not go in and I ended up ruining 2 supports before I back tracked and found that I had not quite removed all of the old support. After properly clearing out the opening the new support went in without a problem. 

Ordered parts after looking at diagram, then installed just as seen in video very easy 

Found all the parts and pieces that we needed for 2 frigs online. Called for extra help in finding a part # for a mystery piece - great hello and guide. Received everything in 2 days - Wow! Everything installed shortly thereafter. 

Started by taking the drip tray off. Then unscrewed the three screws. Pushed the control panel up. Pressed the wire harness off. Unscrewed the next 3 screws. Pulled the water line out. Unddid the wires again. Pulled the ice/water mechanism out. Pushed the torsion spring out. Put the new part in place. That was the tricky part. It has to be put in flipped up, replace the torsion spring, and then pushed down into place. Reconnected the wires. Pushed the water line back in place. Put the ice/water mechanism back in place. Replace the three screws. Reconnect the wires. Pushed the control panel on then down. Replaced the three screws. Replaced the drip tray. 

Ordered new side bracket & glass-- had them in 2-days -- as we lived not far from the parts warehouse ( 200 miles). Had everything cleaned up prior to the pats arrival & was back in business --- 1/2 hour after receiving them. Great service and for very reasonable prices !! 

We ordered a frame and the mount. It came fast I will be using this company if ever needed again. . 

Watched video, purchased what was needed, watched video again when the parts arrived, then fixed the broken tray and clips. The video was a tremendous help, especially with how to remove the broken clips. total replacement took less than 20 minutes, which included removing the food and trays from the fridge, cleaning them, them putting all the stuff back again. Replacing the broken parts, by themselves, took about 5 minutes.

Removed the broken support and installed a new one. Ordered the part; received it a few days later and started the repair. Had a minor bit of difficulty removing the broken part, but then consulted the helpful video available through your website and the rest was easy.
