How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3768579 / 318255401 Element

After watching the video located on the Appliance Parts Pros website, I was easily able to replace the element in about 10 minutes. It was an EASY repair. I was also pleased that I received the part the day after I ordered it and did NOT pay for overnight shipping. 

We fixed it by ordering a new element and replacing it. It took only a few mins to replace it

I tested the electrical leads in the oven and found them live. I figured the element must have failed. I searched a few sites looking for a specific brand's part. I had a limited amount of time to repair the oven and wanted a quick turnaround. Gloria took the order on the phone after giving me an idea of area distribution centers. Ordered element, exact part was shipped in a few days, replaced element. 

It was reassuring that the ordering process included verification of the item's compatibility. After turning off the breaker, it was an easy exchange of part for part. In addition to a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers, a flashlight was all that was needed. 

Replaced element ,took about 5 minutes 

Used a Phillips screwdriver and needle nose pliers. About ten minutes which included cleaning the oven bottom. 

I called appliance parts pros with the serial number of the oven and they sent me the part. It's that simple and I removed the old one and plugged it in. It works great!
