How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3768579 / 318255401 Element

I first ordered a new bake element because it was the cheapest part and customer service told me I could send it back if the part did not fix the issue. Turns out the element was not the main problem but it was a problem as ithad a white hot spot in it and the glow of the heating element was dim due to 10 years of use. I then purchased the time clock control board that controls the bake and broil elements and everything started working as it did before. And now with the new element I get evenly cooked food and the element heats up much brighter than before. Both parts set me back roughly $200.00 but I never had to pay for a repair man to do the work, since I had the help of an appliance parts pro technician helping me over the phone to solve this problem. Thanks and will use again! 

Went to the website, looked up the correct part number, ordered it, and luckily it was an easy fix. No issues with the swap out and my oven is working again.
