How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2126395 / 316203200 Oven Broil Element

Ordered part. Had it in 3 days. Replaced it in 10 minutes. Working fine now. 

Ordered new element and received it in two days. Very easy to replace. 

Hands-on 

I ordered a new broil element - I also ordered a new bake element. I figured that one would stop working relatively soon - the oven is approximately 12 years old. My only problem was I couldn't get the electrical wire out, so I had to open the back of the oven - but it still didn't take too long. 

Ended up being the control board. AppliancePartsPros issued a credit no problem. 

I went to Appliance Parts Pros.com looked up my broiler element and light (using my ovens serial number) and noticed that the bake element for my oven was extremely inexpensive so I picked this up with the other parts. The parts arrived TWO days later and with just a philips screwdriver I had the parts in in less than an hour. All around good experience and now my 12 year old oven works like new. Thank you. 

We replaced it ourselves. 

We replace replaced it. 

Extremely simple. Removed back panel and pulled two wires loose from connections. Removed oven rack and unscrewed current element. Placed new element in oven, replaced screws in oven. Attached wires and replaced rear panel. Quick and easy repair. The only disappointment is the price of the element, over $100!!!! 

Replace the baking element as well as the broil element
