Steve Radi September 16, 2019 for Model Number FEF352DUD What can I do when the attachment clip for the broiler element was shoved behind the oven wall? Part number 316203200
1 Answer Steve, make sure the range is unplugged, your model is a free-standing range and can be pulled out to access the wiring in the back. Remove the rear panel, this will grant you access to where the broil element sticks through the rear of the oven, you can attach the wire clip to the element this way. Read More...

Jill L. January 08, 2018 for Model Number FFEF3016LWB I notice when baking that they don't bake evenly. The back browns faster than the front. What is causing this?
1 Answer Hello Jill, If you have foil in the bake compartment covering the vents in the bottom panel or if you have covered the drip pans with foil blocking the vent hole in the center of the burner which is the oven vent tube, the issue will occur. These are placed to form an air circulation for even bake temperatures in the bake compartment. Foil on a rack can also contribute to this issue. Read More...
John July 08, 2014 for Model Number FEF365BWF Hello, having a problem getting the screws loose on the top element in the oven...this unit has the 5 star screws in it.... How do I break these screws loose ? Been inside the oven what can I spray on the screws to break them loose, that won't cause a problem later with the heat ? One more question, does the new element come with new hardware?, thanks John
1 Answer Hello John. These can get tight due to heat. You can not use any spray. Make sure you use a good fitting bit on the screw and slowly break it loose. The element comes with no hardware. Just the element. Read More...
1 Answer Hello Ralph, You need to verify the 240Vac to the unit if it is electric and verify gas supply if it is gas. If a freestanding unit, checking for the voltage can be done by turning on a surface unit and making sure it turns orange within a minute or so. If it is gas make sure the surface burners will operate normally. If it is a wall oven, you will have to get to the junction box or terminal block to check the voltage. If you were to re-post with the model and serial number from the units' I.D. tag, we would be able to pull the wiring diagram on the unit you are having trouble with and give you an accurate diagnosis and even directions and part numbers. I know this is an additional bother but it is necessary for accuracy. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Tammy November 28, 2011 for Model Number FEF352AWG I was using my oven the other day and now it is not working I notice that the elements do not work when I turn the oven on what happen?
1 Answer Hello Tammy. Check and make sure there is 240 volts AC at the terminal block, and it is not burnt. If it is good, you will need to replace the control 316207511 if the element reads closed for continuity. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
