Lee W Washington , DC June 05, 2023 Appliance: Frigidaire Washer FAFW3801LW3 E23 error code. Washer wouldn’t start. Replaced Drain Pump, drain hose & filter. Now it works great! Previously I replaced the door catch sensor because some people said this was a common issue for not starting but that didn’t help, then I realized I could check for error codes. The hardest part of the project was getting the hose clips on and off. There was a lot of water in the hoses luckily I had two old towels ready. John M Redding , CA October 12, 2020 Appliance: Model FRIGIDAIRE No high speed spin front loader. I pulled the bottom access plate off, ordered a drain boot and filter prior to starting the repair. Pulled off the drain boot, there was no filter basket installed.. The pump turned freely, so I installed the 2 new parts, ran on medium spin and the washer ran fine. Issue is with high speed spin.. but the 1 day shipping and video help me work on my own unit.
