Questions & Answers

For Frigidaire Washer Filter (Part Number: OEM16891077)

1 Answer

Hello Inge. Check your wiring harness on the unit. It is not common for the lock to continue failing on the unit over and over. It sounds like you may have an issue with the door lock on the unit.

Dan E for Model Number ATF7000SF0

My Frigidaire ATF7000FS0 front load washing machine stops in the spin cycle and does not drain. But only in wash cycles. It does spin and drain in the "Spin Only" cycle. This started with an overly full load of towels about two ago. It's gotten progressively worse, and now it happens on empty loads. Could this be a clogged filter? If so, does it make sense that it would spin and drain properly in "Spin Only" mode? Could it be a belt that's getting loose? A bad control board?

1 Answer

Dan, With the unit draining and spinning in the spin only cycle then this would be a issue with the main control board of the unit. The part number for the main board will be 137007000NH.

Ron, The manufacture may have redesigned the part without the cloth on it. This filter will not have the cloth and it is not required for the part.

Hi. If you can pop off the door latch solenoid cover, you can physically cycle the solenoid plunger and release the door striker/Handle so it will unlock the door. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer ASKO parts. Thank You.

Wavey D. for Model Number Frigidaire front load I believe GLTF2940FS2

I removed a clog from the 3 opening. Black rubber drain gasket attached with a green metal circle clamp to the Askoll pump Mod.M2222-5. The clog(coins, paper clips, and a sock) was actually inside the loose hard plastic filter cup with drain holes (part # 134565200 replaced by AP 4298707.)It was filled with the aforementioned items. I pulled out this plastic filter to empty it and cannot figure out how to get it back to its proper place? Thanks for any advice

Hi Wavey. The sump filter part # 137518800 installs in the top of the pump intake/ sump hose. It is carefully installed in the 3-rd ring area from the top. Thank You.

Hello Joe. Test for power coming to the drain pump assembly 137221600. If there is power there, and the hoses are clear, and the water does not pump out, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly in the unit. Make sure the filter cup and the hose going to the stand pipe are clear and not clogged. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
