Inge February 22, 2017 for Model Number GLTF2940ES0 I had the door lock set replaced and the machine worked fine after that for a short while, then it would not spin again. I replaced the same thing and it worked fine for a few months. Now I have the same problem again. It won't spin and it displays 'err' Any help what could be the problem?
1 Answer Hello Inge. Check your wiring harness on the unit. It is not common for the lock to continue failing on the unit over and over. It sounds like you may have an issue with the door lock on the unit. Read More...
Dan E February 01, 2017 for Model Number ATF7000SF0 My Frigidaire ATF7000FS0 front load washing machine stops in the spin cycle and does not drain. But only in wash cycles. It does spin and drain in the "Spin Only" cycle. This started with an overly full load of towels about two ago. It's gotten progressively worse, and now it happens on empty loads. Could this be a clogged filter? If so, does it make sense that it would spin and drain properly in "Spin Only" mode? Could it be a belt that's getting loose? A bad control board?
1 Answer Dan, With the unit draining and spinning in the spin only cycle then this would be a issue with the main control board of the unit. The part number for the main board will be 137007000NH. Read More...
Ron November 02, 2015 for Model Number kenmore 970 c48992 This model is made by frigidaire. Is there a cloth insert in the filter? I found a piece of cloth several layers thick in mine. Someone else asked the same question but you said no. Are you sure?
1 Answer Ron, The manufacture may have redesigned the part without the cloth on it. This filter will not have the cloth and it is not required for the part. Read More...
Tom January 19, 2015 for Model Number GLTF2940FS2 I removed a clogged filter and in it was a 3 layer cloth insert caked with mud. When I went to order the new filter it looks like it's just the plastic part with 12 holes without the cloth insert. Is the cloth part of the filter?
1 Answer Tom, Yes this filter is just the plastic with 12 holes and would not have a cloth insert. Read More...

Waveydavey April 04, 2012 for Model Number Asco 11505 front load washer My door on my Asco 11505 front load washer will not unlock (wet clothes inside). I removed the front, drained it and looked for a manual pull ring but could not find one. I tried to turn it on but now it will not turn on at all. Does anyone know how to get the door to unlock? Thank you
1 Answer Hi. If you can pop off the door latch solenoid cover, you can physically cycle the solenoid plunger and release the door striker/Handle so it will unlock the door. Unfortunately at this time we do not offer ASKO parts. Thank You. Read More...
Wavey D. March 31, 2012 for Model Number Frigidaire front load I believe GLTF2940FS2 I removed a clog from the 3 opening. Black rubber drain gasket attached with a green metal circle clamp to the Askoll pump Mod.M2222-5. The clog(coins, paper clips, and a sock) was actually inside the loose hard plastic filter cup with drain holes (part # 134565200 replaced by AP 4298707.)It was filled with the aforementioned items. I pulled out this plastic filter to empty it and cannot figure out how to get it back to its proper place? Thanks for any advice
1 Answer Hi Wavey. The sump filter part # 137518800 installs in the top of the pump intake/ sump hose. It is carefully installed in the 3-rd ring area from the top. Thank You. Read More...
Joe March 06, 2012 for Model Number GLTF2940FS2 I have had problems with my machine (Frigidaire GLTF2940FS2) not draining, stopping mid cycle. I checked the rubber boot going to the pump that drains the water - cleaned it all out. My guess is my problem might be the door lock assembly - does this sound logical? Also, the filter shown (AP4298707) is in no way the same as the one I found - mine appears to be solid -
1 Answer Hello Joe. Test for power coming to the drain pump assembly 137221600. If there is power there, and the hoses are clear, and the water does not pump out, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly in the unit. Make sure the filter cup and the hose going to the stand pipe are clear and not clogged. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
