How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3886929 / 134550700 Frame

After reading some stories on this site I ordered four parts of the door and replaced the damaged parts. It took about 30 minutes and the new door was installed. I am not a handy man so I was thrilled with how easy it was to complete. Thx

New Door Parts and a Latch. The hinge design of this type is always a pain in the derriere to adjust/align so that the door closes correctly without riding high or low when being closed, otherwise wear on the latch mechanism will result in failure.. At first the door would not stay closed and needed to be held closed when starting the cycle to have the door latch shut. I ended up putting a washer behind the hinge at each of the three screws to shim the hinge out because the fit was way to tight. That seems to have solved the problem. In the long run I may need to add another set of washers to shim further. By the way...the parts were at my door within 36 hours. 

I replaced the hinge, inner and outer door panels, and the strike, which had also broken. 

Got the front and back panel and cover from your site, remove the door from the appliance to ease the job. Replaced the broken parts, placed the door back on the appliance and all worked like a charm. On a side note shipping and handling was really fast and the parts fit very well. 

Bought outer door panel and inner door panel put parts back together .Washer works great just like brand new. 

Had to replace Inner and outer door plastic panels, took about an hour. My order was received in just one day, very quick, all parts received fit perfectly and the repair went without a hitch. I would buy from ApplianceParts PROS again. 

For this repair I needed three parts: door hinge, outer door panel, and inner door panel. Super easy repair; took less than 15 minutes. The video at AppliancePartsPros.com helped. Only needed one phillips screwdriver to complete the repair. 

I went online and searched for parts, found this website and ordered the parts, outer panel and frame. The parts came in fast. I mean Quick. Took the hinge of the door and assembled the new door and hinged it back to the washer. it took a total of 30 min. 15 of those was finding the screw driver in the garage. 

Purchased and installed a new inside frame
