How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6036330 / 5304506469 Door Handle Set

Easy fix. 

Ordered a new one 

Replaced handle 

Ordered new parts from appliance parts pros, received them extremely quick and replaced both upper and lower handles. 

A somewhat destructive tenant moved out of their apartment and left their brand new Frigidaire refrigerator dirty with a broken door handle and door shelf bar. A slight pull of the side of the old bar toward the middle of the door popped the old bar out. Aligned the new bar with the side guides, pushed it in, and it snapped in place. Very easy. About 5 minutes with a Phillips head screwdriver had the old broken handle off and the new one installed. My only issue is that the handles do not include the mounting screws. They have to be purchased separately. 

Went to a local store for handle, they gave me the website for AppliancePartsPros. Went home and brought up website, ordered parts (only available in set of two). Shipment came 2 days later. I had replaced it before and all it takes is a screwdriver. 

Installed the new handle we quickly received 

Installed new one. 

It was a really simple fix. I removed the meat pan hanger shelf out of the fridge, removed one screw from the old hanger and then replaced the meat pan hanger with the new one and it was just like new. Then I replaced the freezer door handle and the fridge handle by removing two screws from each where they attach to the doors. Then I slid the door handles into place, tightened the screws and again just like new. What I really appreciated was all the information on AppliancePartsPros.com website that was an incredible resource. Plus I initially couldn't see the difference between the meat pan hangers, left or right side while I was looking at the diagram on the website, so I called AppliancePartsPros.com and spoke with a very helpful lady named Tina and she explained in detail where the information was on the blowup drawing of the interior of the fridge was and while we were both looking at the blowup of the interior drawing on my end and she on hers. Tina was truly just a great help. I ordered these parts on Wednesday and they were here on Thrusday and I replaced them that day. I will use this company again and again as I am an 19 unit apartment owner/manager in Studio City, CA. This was just a great experience all around.
