How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3965251 / 154106202 Heating Element Nut

My husband easily replaced the heating element nut. It was very accessible when the dishwasher was pulled halfway out.

Identified where leak was coming from by removing bottom panel. Saw it was coming from heating element nut. Removed it and saw it was cracked. Replaced it and that fixed the leak. 

I purchased the bottom gasket and the nut for the heating element. After receiving the parts, I watched the videos from AppliancePartsPros.com on Youtube for directions. Installed new parts and so far no leaks. 

Replaced heating element.

Ordered copper nuts from you. 

Removed the old heating element nuts (both had cracks) and replaced them with these! Worked like a charm. 

Got 2 heating element nuts and replaced them. Problem solved.
