How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4433236 / 316489403 Gas Oven Ignitor

I replaced the igniter and work good. Tks 

New oven igniter. Igniter was under floor of oven . Removed floor and took out drawer on bottom. Would have been easier it I didn't have to lay down and reach to back left corner. Also 20 pounds and 20 years ago! Part fit perfect O.E.M. numbers matched. A little problem getting original part unplugged,but that was due to location. Took about 30 minutes. 

I took the old ignitor out put in a new one started right up 

Watched video, ordered new igniter. Received new part, took about 30 minutes to replace. Everything went smoothly no surprises. Problem fixed. A good day, made my wife happy. 

Initially, I could see the original igniter wasn’t glowing, which if not hot enough will not open the gas valve. I removed the igniter and it failed continuity test. So, ordered this part and received in 2 days. Installed and put back together in about 30 minutes. Works good so far. 2 year old stove so very disappointed I had to spend $116 with shipping on this. 

Replaced oven igniter with a brand new one. 

The fix was super easy. Not much skill set needed. Video provided on the websight was pretty helpful. 

After three service calls from a " factory authorized tech" a bid box store refunded my purchase price, let me keep the stove, and do as I pleased. A little research on the net, ordered a part, and one week later I now have a range that works perfectly. So much for TRAINED SERVICE TECH the net and Appliance Part had my back. Thank you very much. 

Our oven was heating up and we were able to search what part was needed. Appliance Parts Pros made it easy to check the model number (found on the side of the bottom drawer - kind of like side of a car door for vin numbers) for the correct part. We also greatly appreciate the install video. As a homeschool mom this turned into a lesson for my 11 year old. We watched the video, would pause, do a step, then hit play again. It took us a little longer because we had to pull out our stove which meant cleaning behind and under it while we had it out. But he did, pretty much, himself with my oversight. Neither of us had any previous experience with this so the video was very helpful.
