How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6230715 / 5304509706 Gas Range Oven Igniter

Researched the model/part number on AppliancePartsPros.com and found exact match. Made the repair myself. 

I replaced the Oven burner ignitor. The old one was completely worn out. The fire wouldn't start and after searching Appliance Parts Pros, other people reported similar issues and most were resolved after replacing the ignitor. Oven works great now. Couldn't have done it without the video to guide me through the process. Thanks. 

Tested safety valve for voltage when set to bake. And found 120v on both connections indicating low resistance in a failed igniter igniter. Replaced igniter with part provided from yall and now it works like a charm. 

I noticed the igniter was terribly burnt and made the decision to replace it. I took my time replacing the part following your advice from the video and it works great!!! Thank you so much!!! 

The igniter would not light up. I ended up replacing it (The shipment was incredibly fast which I really do appreciate) the replacement was very easy. Either or it is up and running. I also needed a burner cap as my husband had lost the one that went on the left side. Don’t ask me how he lost it because I have been wondering the same thing. 

Replaced oven igniter burner 

Replacing both ignitors fixed the problems. 

Spent a day googling,troubleshooting and diagnosing. Finally settle on the fact that the ignitor was bad. Order a new one from appliancepartspros. It was here in about 3 days and now my oven is as good as new. 

Installed new igniter. Problem solved. Manufacturer part so swap out was quick and easy. 

I removed grills from inside oven. Then the bottom metal panel that has 2 screws securing it. The ignitor is immediately under metal panel. Very easy to change part.
