How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5807223 / 5304495520 Range Control Board

Replaced control board, parts came earlier than I expected. 

Ordered replacement control panel and touch screen. Googled you tube video and replaced. Easy job! 

I replaced it with the control panel kit. 

After only a year and a half my electronic control board went bad. I bought a new board and cover plate from AppliancePartsPros and installed them in minutes. My new part came with a filter to protect the new electronics. After spending $809.84 for an electric range only to last months past the one year warranty is disappointing. The $197 cost of the repair is hurtful no matter how easy the replacement was. This is in no way Appliance Parts Pros fault but I will never by another Fridigadaire range if this part goes bad within 6 years. APP shipped my part fast and it was installed in minutes. 

I was not sure why the oven was not working. I watched YouTube and figured out that it was probably the oven control panel. I ordered the part from you at approximately 1100 on 02/13/17. It arrived the following afternoon. I installed it and my wife was baking a cake by 1500 on 02/14/17. GREAT and SPEEDY service. 

Looked online and determined mostly likely part failure was the oven control. I ordered the part on a Monday and it arrived by FED EX on Wednesday. Included with that part , was what I assume to be a surge protector that attached directly to the power leads to the range. The surge protector took about twenty minutes to install and the oven control about 15 minutes. I had looked at a You tube video on how to replace. Glad I did , because I would have had no idea on how to replace the front cover on the control panel. Sticky circuit board cover that had to be removed from old control panel. 

After my package arrived (only 24 hours after I ordered it!), I took it over to the stove , which was waiting with its back panels already off. I took each bundle of wires off the old one, one at a time,!and placed them in the corresponding space on the new one. Once it was all hooked up, I reattached the back and plugged the stove back in. And viola! It works again. Whole thing took maybe 40 minutes.

Googled the Internet to look for a replacement for our Frigedaire oven control board. I stumbled on more than one website. I used appliancepartspros because I was able to verify compatibility based on our oven's model. I chose ground delivery and wasn't expecting it for several days. I was stunned to receive the part within two days. We're delighted to have been able to fix our oven sooner than expected; no more error code or beeping sound!
