How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6230612 / 5304509457 Microwave Door Latch Hook Bracket

Replaced door latch parts. Switches were fine. Latches were worn. Using ohm meter I could see the switch make and break contact with door closed while wiggling the handle. New parts corrected everything. 

Checked all the switches and thermal breakers for operation and all checked good. I then took Gerald G's story to heart and replace the Door Latch and Latch Hook and BOOM problem solved. 

Replaced Latch Hook and that fixed the problem. 

Replaced the switch mount. 

Replaced one switch and the switch holder assembly. 

I replaced door switches and switch holder on microwave oven. 

Started by replacing all 3 micro switches for the door, found that the plastic for the switch holder had worn out when the door latch would open and close preventing latch from fully pressing on one switch. Replaced latch on door as precaution and switch holder, problem solved. 

Replaced the door latch hook assembly on microwave right side which also holds the door switches. I also replaced the door hook assembly on the actual door since it is prone to wear per your website. I've opened and closed the microwave door multiple times after the repair with it running and no more tripped circuit breakers! Seems to work great! 

Replaced door micro switch holder assembly. 

I checked all 3 micro-switches after removing them from the bracket. All tested good. It seems the door bracket/guide was worn as I can jiggle handle when closed and force breaker trip. These ovens do not like being pulled open at a downward angle( as most people will do when installing at the upper location. Constant usage will cause early wear. A better application would be a “push to open” style oven
